The Final Alaska Cruise Vlog: Sitka and Captain Tracy’s One-Eyed Wrap-Up
September 16, 2018
I’m not sure what was more fun–spending two weeks exploring Alaska by cruise ship or recording and editing these ridiculously bad Alaska cruise vlog episodes. For now, here’s the last installment. Sitka, where I lost my heart. I mean eye. Where I almost lost my eye.
I have little more to say here on a QWERTY keyboard that I didn’t already say in this final video. So to you I say: enjoy. And thanks for watching.
Have you watched ALL of these terrible vlog episodes? If so, would you like more of them? Make some suggestions in the comments and I’ll see what I can do to bring you yet more embarrassingly awful video content. You’re welcome.
Okay, I really enjoyed all the vlogs…you folks definitely have a fan here !! I was impressed how your video improved as you moved along…well done ! I think that your main problem was the audio with the wind being your enemy. I certainly am not “tech savvy” at all and with that being said, is there a way for you to wear a small microphone on your person ? That could possibly solve the problem…maybe…Anyway, I so enjoy your sense of humor. You are one funny lady ! Please continue with the vlogs and thanks for the scenic Alaska trip ! Okay, so now I’m going to put in a request…Have you been to the Greek Islands ? Hint…hint…
I have NOT been to the Greek Islands! I would LOVE to go to the Greek Islands! Let’s consider that added to the list!
And yes, I for sure need a mic. I decided to do this super last minute–and also the ‘on a budget’ thing extends to the rest of my life (because money is a thing I don’t have) so I couldn’t make that happen for this trip, sadly. If/when I decide to continue the vlogging, I will invest in some better tech, starting with a mic. I honestly wasn’t sure if this would be possible or even enjoyable for me, but now I know–I love it, so I will be trying to make it look and SOUND more professional.
And thanks for the many compliments. I felt they got better as we went also. It’s definitely been a learning experience. And we all know how much I love to learn!
Absolutely loved your vlog, and am dreaming of visiting Alaska soon. I think the research you’ve done is amazing, especially finding ways to explore that don’t cost a lot and allow you to see more of the real Alaska instead of the tourist route. Looking forward to your next adventure!
I’m so glad to hear that this was helpful!
I’m hopefully going to be vlogging again soon, likely featuring more-local-to-me places, as, well…money is a thing and I don’t really have any right now. But I figure that’s all the more reasons to write about budget travel options, right? Right.
