Unboxing

I Am Not A Beauty Blogger: My First Unboxing Video Featuring Ipsy, Birchbox, and Boxycharm

Y’all, this video is terrible. I mean so, so bad. Remember my first vlog ever when I took a GoPro to Ocean City Maryland and slow-motion-filmed me drinking a hurricane in a hammock chair? Yeah. That was an art film compared to this.

But you should watch it anyway. Because sometimes awful is entertaining. Right? Right.

Anyway.

In my quest to diversify the content of both my blog and my life, I set out on a journey to learn how to ‘do’ beauty through the magic of beauty subscription boxes. This is the first in what is definitely going to be an ongoing series of both traditional and not-so-traditional unboxing videos. I say definitely because I’ve already filmed and edited like four more of these. Because when I do a thing, I do a thing. For the ones that want to know more about coolsculpting read more about My Botox LA Med Spa here. Additionally, microneedling in San Francisco is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure designed to rejuvenate the skin.

Let’s jump in to the actual video, shall we?

Along with the above video, I also took notes on the process of signing up for these subscription boxes. Because of course I did. So I’m going to share those notes with you here. Because of course I am. For the best 5 effective alternatives to sunscreen visit site.

Profile Creation

You must create profile before even seeing the cost. This displeases me. Really detailed profile though. You get to pick specifically what kinds of products you want, and color pallets, which I’ve not seen yet–in signing up for three other services.
Note: I subscribed but am on the ‘waitlist’. I believe this to be a bullshit thing that makes you share things on social media slash a variation on the scarcity principal.

Contents

Crystal + Chrome Pigmented Crystallized Particles (what?)
2 JEJU:EN Sheet Masks
So Susan Light Shifting Highlighting cream (really tiny)
Wonderw and Intensely Volumizing Mascara (small; good for travel)
